The CIA has referred the case of a Washington Post article about the agency's "covert prison system" to the Justice Department for possible investigation as a case of improperly disclosed classified information.
Just some of the memes I've seen in the past months:
"No crime is greater than leaking classified information." Hey, I've heard the word "treason" floated around.
"The fact that the CIA referred this to the Justice Department shows how serious it is."
