Insufficient information for a meaningful answer

Hi LJK

My favorite theological short-story is Isaac Asimov's "The Last Question" - and my title phrase features prominently in the story as the answer by the various incarnations of Multivac over the aeons in answer to the question: "Can cosmic Entropy be reversed?"

SO science-fiction and theology can mix, but in a field like galacto-chemistry and exobiology I think it's clear: insufficient information for a meaningful answer.

Information about god is ostensibly limited to whichever revelation is being put forward by his proponents - it's a fixed body of data. And I've read a few such books - I find very little about biochemistry, cosmology, chemical evolution and so forth. So where are these design scientists getting their information about the god they're trying to see in the data?

Francis Bacon once said that God gave us two books about him - Nature and the Bible - and I think the former is the better read.
