How long will it take us to use up the Sol system?
If sustained colonies become the norm in the Sol system, and we don't turn the place into a Dyson Shell, how long will the Sol system be able to give us materials and other resources before the Sun starts expanding into a red giant star, when we will likely have to find other accomodations - to say nothing of the day when the whole Universe goes bye-bye in one form or another.
