"Johannes, energy is measure in Joules, and Power is energy flow, meaning how much ENERGY PER SECOND is released or used by a dynamic system. Thus, your 'joules being the heat equivalent of watts per second' is the wrong way round - watts are a measure of Power, which is energy flow in joules per second. Also, if one watt per second is maintained over 2 seconds, then by definition 2 watts have been released or used"
My point is yes he has it upside-down but his posts have the apperance of someone trying to grapple with the ideas, even if wrongly - and so I would bother to answer him.
(This is no comment on his other stuff BTW .. my responses are assuming his good faith unless shown otherwise)
Off Topic » in reply to "Could you point out where I confused energy and power or velocity and momentum?"
so the next step is -
The whole thread (39 posts)
- To RL. Continuation from, but posted---NOT on Space/Science---
- will get back to Johannes and Rob by the weekend ... (n/t)
- Thread is fixed
- "Could you point out where I confused energy and power or velocity and momentum?"
- Your confusion stems...
