Does being in power make it more excusable?

My main question to you is:
Just what is your opinion on it?
The only thing you've posted so far is "Yeah, well, Dems did it too" and "If it was a Dem, the media would be silent".

Do you actually have opinions any more? (other than your innate ability to ferret out "real" intentions and ulterior motives)
