I expect it to slow slightly in the next year.

To around 3.9-4.0%. Oil will return to $50.00/bbl. The fed will begin to ease its tightening policy and adopt a neutral stance.

I expect Democrats to call that the worst economy in 50 years (again). They may even speek of a "stealth recession" or some such made-up nonesense...Or impending Depression!!! Oh. the words, the often do scare!

"40 million Americans are without health care" will turn into 50 or even 60 Million by the election.

The media will report nothing but economic doom and gloom as the 2006 elections approach.

Yet, still more immigrents will flock to the jobs Mecca known as the USA. They'll earn a nice living and even make enough extra cash to forward some of their US$ back to relatives in their homelands., where the US$'s are as acceptable as gold at the local markets.

So eveb with the number of US $ bills in circulation continueing to grow at around 8%, inflation will stay in check inside of the USA.

The only thing that could kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs is a nuclear war somewhere in the world, or a Democratic take-over of the House and Senate. Either or both of those would be equally devestating to the US economy.
