What's to be sorry about? The profilers merely need to include anyone with a French or Belgian accent. ;-)

If you think I get my thrills pointing out the facets of ignorance in our world's multicultural diamond, think again. If you think I somehow hold Muslims as evil, think again. History repeats itself. For thousands of years rebels, highwaymen, marauders, pirates, militias and now terrorists have been using violence in these regions. The violence is nonstop through the decades-the centuries! The ignorance persists unabated.

Ignorance-->hate & violence

It would be just another form of ignorance to "hate" the ignorant. Such is the tit for tat retaliatory basis for wars and escalating violence from prejudice.

Nazis made that mistake. Hating real and perceived oppressors. Al Qaeda makes the same mistake as well: hating westerners and infidels and seeking their destruction.

Evil is a subjective interpretation. Al Qaeda blows people up and think they are doing Allah's bidding. Nazis put people in gas chambers and pits because they thought they were removing enemies of the state and acting on prejudice. Both groups thought they are/were righteous. Evil therefore can be scaled alongside ignorance. The greater the ignorance, the greater the evil.

When one understands this ALL things are evil when seen from a more intelligent position.

PAST/FUTURE

Providing a culture is progressing and becoming more intelligent, it should see the past in a new light. Destructive acts will be seen in a new light. The events of the past become more evil than when they were present events.

The US put anyone of Japanese origin in internment/prison camps because they were also suspected as being enemies of the state and acting on prejudice. At the time, this hardly raised an eyebrow and, indeed, some even felt it was too lenient, and that these folks should be deported.

Now, in retrospect, the action appears more and more evil.

That's life. Progress means realizing even your current belief system will someday be viewed by yourself as evil at some future time.

Muslims and their religion are in the same boat as Christians, Hindus, atheists and agnostics.

Ignorance is everywhere. I've got enough of my own to deal with and know at least enough not to let hate be a part of my life.
