What the "chickenhawk" nuts on the Left are desperately trying to cover up is that the active military is mostly firmly opposed to their positions on the war. Particularly those on duty in Iraq. The Democratic Party is making some solid enemies in the military. I assume the Democrats think, like they did in 2000 when they tried to invalidate military ballots, that they can write off that constituency.
