Podrock or other Dan Simmons fans
I believe you posted on this awhile back
I just finished reading Olympus and while I throughly enjoyed Illium and Olympus, I was a bit bummed out by the deux ex machina that brought the story to a rather abrupt end. It was almost as if Simmons felt that his Greek epic must end that way and was, in a way, yanking our chain.
Do you think he did it on purpose or just ran out of gas.
