re: Human traits
Perhaps some characteristics we attribute to humans are related to the amount of data we get rather than human behavior. Above a certain level, there's a need for selection if the goal is survival.
I'm sure humans will program goals to them and in order to work, those goals will interfere with humans.
I'm also sure robots won't desire things they can't have anyway (for instance legs for a robot not meant to move).
But it's the future , an unpredictable one.
