My post was a simple statement of my belief
I don't give a darn what the paper said. I don't understand why you guys would find fault with so simple a statement as:
"For the period of time that a criminal is incarcerated or dead, he is deterred." and "For me, that's all that the penal system is for. Not punishment. Not revenge."
What on earth is there to argue about????
