How many of you can claim this experience?
How many of you can claim that they have had a confirmed sighting of the planet Mercury
at their work site without deliberately seeking to find the planet first?
This morning in Calgary, Alberta, at between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, less than an hour before sunrise,
I stepped outside of my steel parts fabrication plant, looking SE, and though the sky was already starting to
brighten a little, I spotted the planet Mercury about 10 to 15 degrees above the SE horizon.
This is my THIRD confirmed sighting of Mercury, my SECOND being during the end of March, 1997,
when I saw it briefly about the same time I saw COMET HALE-BOPP, most spectacular in the same sky.
