Norton, that is. No conflict possible (I don't use POP3 email anyway).
Everything ran fine for the first ~5 months with this new box (in which the Norton was bundled)... then things began to degrade. Losing functionality in Word was the last straw.
Imagine if a product you thought was benign began interfering with AutoCAD...
btw, I left the Utilities intalled. I still prefer Norton's diagnostic and maintenance software, especially SpeedDisk (I go back to Norton Commander running under DOS 2.0).
