I'll never help Brosz, but someone else may understand.

Tom Brosz - "At least Bowser is up front about it. People who attack the war at every opportunity, yet maintain that they hope for victory, aren't kidding anyone except themselves."

The implication here is that I hope the US, Coalition and/or new Iraqi government "loses", and am honest about that desire.

I'd like to clear up this misconception. In Iraq, there is no "winner". There will be no "winners", with the probable exception of Sharon and an aggressive Israeli foreign policy achieved over Americans dead bodies. He's a known war criminal. And Bush and Cheney's oil buddies.

I am up front about wanting the best for the Iraqi people, all of the Iraqi people. I do not want to see them slaughtered, especially by Americans.

I do not want to see $225 billion dollars of US treasury spent on slaughtering Iraqis when 45 million Americans do not have access to preventative medical care. There can be NO problem with single-payer systems greater than having 45 million Americans without preventative medical care.

I do not like it that America is despised by every country and every individual with a shred of morality, who live by the rule of law, that American has become as bad as Hitler's Germany and Stalins USSR in their early stages, and that Americans have gladly given up their civil liberties as did Germans.

I am ashamed the HZ has a moderator who says the Patriot Act is OK because it hasn't touched him. That was what allowed the Holocaust in Germany, that same attitude.

And I grieve for the Iraqis, who have been sacrificed on the altar of Bush's ego, Cheney's oil cartel and Rumsfelds ambition, who have to listen to Condi Rice lie and lie and lie, and who look for the carcasses of their relatives through the bombed out buildings and the burned out white phosphorous used for "reconnisance by fire".

I am honest about that.

I believe that people who talk about winners and losers in this matter are hopelessly naive, morally defective, and only human by biology. People who think about "winning" and "losing" will never understand a live which is, situations which are, forever remaining on the grade school playground where everything is win or lose.

The next time you want to say I hope somebody loses, my True Believing, neocon fellow poster, remember you are wrong. The hope is for winners, the reality is everyone loses.

Speak for yourself in the future. I forgot. You can't. Keep spouting the Party Line, stay the blind course, read the blogs for your opinions, and remember there can be no respecting a mind with no honesty, no integrity, no standards. Like the people you emulate. So don't expect respect.
