I don't think I've ever seen such a monolithical case of sheer nihilism in my life. I don't know the reasons why. Maybe they're good ones.
I'll leave aside the hallucinations about oil and Israel, and what is apparently a willful ignorance of anything that is actually occurring in Iraq. That another fifty years of murderous dictatorship by a known military aggressor seems to you to be a more acceptable solution than what is going on there now, makes me wonder if you don't have some serious Vietnam issues, and if the U.S. actually succeeding in creating a democracy from a dictatorship would nullify everything you've believed for many years about the role of military force in suppressing tyranny.
A lot of Democratic leaders have bet their political careers on failure in Iraq. Some leftists appear to have bet their souls on it.
Good luck with it.
