Like Reagan the media declared "Teflon President" the medias scraping up their own feces to throw at Bush doesn't stick either. Bush bathes and wears suits treated with various thermoplastic fluoropolymers and so is equally "Teflonized".
None of it sticks for long. Though some people, like dogs, lap it up and eagerly stuff their snouts into it to get a deep whiff.
