Metal Fatigue cause of Seaplane crash?

GOTO cnn.com, about the Miami based sea-plane company and it's unfortunate crash yeasterday killing 19 on board, plane was from 1947 and wonder if NTSB checks out metal fatigue along with corrosion on these sea-planes.
