Seeing as we were discussing the root of some of the problems with Congressional terms, I remembered this email I had received a long time ago and googled for the first link I came upon.

SNOPES says:

Well, scandal mongering is the Name of the Game lately starting with "Sadam-lovers" and the word treason or "aiding the enemy" by just disagreeing with Bush's war. So don't be surprised that some people get their ire up and smear back.

Things don't HAVE to be founded in reality to be true.
Let's take Bush's reasons for going to war in the first place.
