There should be a LAW requiring people who talk about "God" to have a good, working definition of "God" before they do. Christians of all manner of types have all manner of "God", Muslims too, and so on. So if you are looking for "God" in contemporary cosmology just exactly what are you looking for and how will you know when and if you find it?
"God" is a nonsense word, with so many meanings it has no meaning. Sort of like "love". We love chocolate ice cream, our kids, movies, Mustangs. Politicians "love" us. It's another word with so many meanings it is meaningless.
Seriously, what are they looking for when they look for "God" in cosmology?
