Because as you should know by know, The Left, who all think exactly like Bellafonte, completely dominate the media, entertainment, and academia, not to mention the Mind Control Transmitters in your garage door openers. They (The Left) all think exactly alike, and whenever any member of The Left comes out with a particularly loony sort of comment, it's only because that person was honest and the rest of The Left, which of course includes all liberals, Democrats (except maybe Lieberman), war opponents, union members, Sierra Club members, etc, doesn't speak openly about their lock-step hatred of America.
Clearly, the fact that far more people watch the 700 Club every single day than who even know who Bellafonte is, let alone have ever bought one of his records, let alone know what causes he advocates, is irrelevant. Conservatives -- there is no "The Right" -- think for themselves, and are an aggreived minority with little voice or influence, anyway.
You are welcome to argue this point with Tom yourself if you like, I for one have decided I have better things to with my time.
