This is a mainstream actor and singer. There is not one party in Hollywood where he would not be welcomed. No studio would turn him down. There is not one university campus where he would not be an honored speaker.
For standing in front of a foreign nation next to a communist leader and declaring the President of the United States the "greatest terrorist in the world," he will not receive one-thousandth the condemnation in the U.S. that someone who dared to imply Belafonte is "not patriotic" would get.
