Let's say Heim Theory is real.

That everything which has been discussed over the past several weeks turns out to be true. It would mean that we could travel to the stars within a matter of months with current level technology, but such a hyper drive would only be useful in space. Getting to LEO would still require rockets. Imagine having a hyperdrive vehicle in orbit that could travel to most of the galaxy in a couple of years, but using CEV/CXV type vehicles to get the crew and supplies aboard it. That would make an odd scifi story.
