or the majority of voters in this country who voted for him--twice.
As for terrorists, the description is apt. Terrorism is the use of fear to achieve political ends which cannot be otherwise achieved through political process or other public discourse.
You guys have the problem with him, and I'll tell you why. You are terrified that Obama,(and Clinton) will always be the standards by which the last self-styled conservative president will be compared: Mr Bush.
You have called into question his patriotism, his politics, his associates, his religion, even his place of birth. You have done everything possible to de-legitimize him, make him the outsider, turn him into the Other, and to obstruct him at every turn, opposing even policies which your side originated.
You are now showing a willingness to plunge the country into economic chaos on the off-chance that it will be blamed on him. You're afraid he'll become another Roosevelt, sort of a Reagan for Lefties. Because you know if that happens you will be stuck with his legacy and his memory for decades after he departs the public scene.
As for negotiating with Iran, that's his job. He has brought them to the negotiating table with a combination of diplomacy, the threat of force (in Syria) and sanctions, and if he is successful you will be furious. If he is not, we will still be in the same place with Iran we were in 2008.
