Let's develop warm-temperature superconducting electric-motors.
Pretty soon gasoline maybe as expensive [or as cheap; relatively speaking] as liquid nitrogen.
So where are those 'warm-temperature' superconducting electric motors, smaller than a
cantelope, capable of delivering enough HP to run an automobile, promised by those physicists and engineers back in 1987?...Back in the heady days of the discovery of liquid-nitrogen chilled superconductors.
Huh???.....
Oh!....You'll probably want a URL tthat contains the necessary coroborative information to support the basis for the question I just posted.
Well... You'll just have to take my word for it.
I don't feel like surfing on the internet to dig up that URL for you today.
