It is relevant to compare levels of arson, property damage, violence, arrests, rapes, thefts and general destruction of the area of protests. Such comparisons have been done a number of times, and it's pretty obvious who the "thugs" are.

It is not relevant to compare what's written with a marker on pieces of cardboard.
