Man rating Delta and Atlas
So the problem isn't that they can't lift the CEV but they are not man-rated? I read somewhere (here I think) that man-rating is an outdated term because launching hundred million dollar satelites requires pretty damn good launchers anyway. I would be surprised if a Delta or Atlas was a greater risk to astronauts than the shuttle, a "man-rated" space vehicle.
