Here's hoping they can defuse the situation.
Problem is, that if they could defuse it, they could have prevented it.
It's tough for saner minds to prevail. Look at the US. Anyone not foaming at the mouth, spittle flying while screaming "slaughter the bastards" is looked at as unpatriotic.
