Think back a mere 10 or 15 years ago about who was the
"big deal" of the media, and then look at where they are now
and how often the same media pays attention to them.
Paris Hilton is a passing fad. Not fast enough for me, but still
a passing one. She and Simpson offer little more than temporary
eye candy. They will be the ones pitied in short order.
