Only in a few places and for relatively short periods have peace and reason ruled. Even today, nearly ALL of Africa south of the Sahara is a bloody mess. Humans seem to be largely unable to live with each other peacefully. While it should not be so, it seems to be the case.

The significant question is:
What can be done about it?

I would like to see a reasonable and workable answer.
