Yes Scott, in Nazi Germany it was a public school system that was micromanaged by the federal government much as "No Child Left Behind" advocates. Certainly our Feds aren't telling teachers to preach hate and prejudice but they're little by little taking away those teacher's freedoms from treating each child as an individual. Performance is being pushed more and more into standardized testing and accountability by beaurocrats instead of by the trained professionals that see and know the children firsthand. Music and art is being left behind. Can't have that. It might actually allow children free thought and expression.

The Germans didn't make the changes they did in their propoganda overnight. It was this slow gradual process where they took control more and more of individual's lives as they slowly eroded citizen rights from their own laws. Seem vaguely familiar?
