R.L., what do you think of the sodium-ion laser comment in the AWST story?

I don't see the logic in that.... Na+ looking down from 90,000 feet OR LOWER? You know, if someone knew little enough about how a sodium ion works looking up, they could make a silly assumption that it works in reverse.
