So Iraq is teetering towards sectarian civil war, the Taliban are resurging in Afghanistan, Iran is thumbing their noses at us, Hamas is running Palestine and Osama Bin Laden lives free. Meanwhile the Homeland Security Department isn't secure at all.

Never before in this nation's history have we beseiged ourselves with so much incompetence. The failure of the Dubai Ports deal at the bi-partisan hands of Congress has told the rest of the world our "Commander In Chief" isn't commanding anything. It is an incredibly dangerous condition.

The problem begins and ends with the invasion of Iraq. This unnecessary and reckless war has sapped our resources and stolen our international standing. Iran knows this. So does al Qaeda. So does the Taliban. So does Hamas. Things have gone from bad to worse - and the worst is yet to come.

We are a nation of neocon idiots who feed on the pablum of right wing radio talk shows and internet blogs. We have been dumbed down and are now paying a bitter price for our ignorance.
