I had really neglected to consider the SMALLize of this moon. That
brings the delta-V for landing -- and repeated take off and landings at different spots -- into the very attractive range.
PLUS -- I was advised at the LPSC social hour tonight here in houston that my aerogel scheme was unworkable because aerogel is heavily pre-contaminated with organics from its own chemical structure and would thus (in present form, at least) have severe noise-to-signal problems for anything possibly recovered.
