They'll never learn
This is such a high-profile case that it's certain that the Attorney General's personally involved, so this is yet another debacle that can be laid at the door of the Bush Administration and its penchant for always taking the crooked path.
I think that behind the impressive arrogance lies deep insecurity. It sure seems like the Bushies are afraid that they'll never win without cheating. And perhaps they're right.
