Son of a...this appears to be quite the problem. I need to go to a local bookstore and pick up the March issue.

Here is an interesting site that lists Terrestrial cosmic ray intensities. I happen to live in Denver, one of the highest rated cities - Leadville, CO is #1 on the list (scroll down for the table).
