Huh!
I shouldn't have responded. This guy pretty much has his entire identity tied up in being a moderator, and to tweak him for just being him isn't proper. Note: This is a completely serious comment.
And, my post had a good point. R. L.'s remark was NOT made by a regular poster, but by a moderator. To my mind that's not ambiguous, and you handled it wisely.
So, I'm giving him back to you. Frankly, he's too easy. Too many hooks, to obviously is what he is.
