We've a Linksys G with several different encryption types. Range is pretty good (I can pick up the neighbors linksys (wide open, too)). Works fine everywhere in the house. The laptop works out in the back yard, but the signal strength is getting pretty week at that distance. When the weather gets better I'll get a range expander at put it upstairs to get a better signal. Right now it is in the basement in the command center. Looking forward to surfing in the hammock this summer.

Also have one of those wireless cameras, hope to catch that goldfish-stealing heron on tape this spring.
