I find your remarks about "moving goalposts" to be absolutely astonishing.

Here we have the neocons justifying going to war on the basis of mythical weapons of mass destruction and non-existant Iraqi involvement in 9/11. When it became clear that neither of these assertions were true, the neocons moved the goalposts to assert that the purpose of the war was to bring freedom and democracy to Iraq.

And, lets be clear, these handwritten documents talk about a couple of limited contacts between the Iraqis and OBL, not a "connection." There is no evidence of any cooperation, collaboration or "connection." In fact the article clearly states "the document does not establish that the two parties did in fact enter into an operational relationship."

Once again, we have an excellent example of neocon nitpicking. One could just as easily describe the pre-9/11 contacts between George Bush and the Taliban a "connection" and imply all sorts of nefarious, but nebulous results. It has as much substance as claims of a "connection" between Saddam and OBL.
