My god, Tom!
She was under captivity when that tape was made!
If you are being held by people that can kill you and, in fact, have threatened to kill you, you have two choices:
1) Be defiant and speak against their beliefs..
2) Work to make them see you as sympathetic to their cause
Which do you do if you REALLY want to live...?
The Stockholm Syndrome is a very real thing:
The steps in which Stockholm syndrome takes root are complex and cumulative.
Consider a typical hostage situation: again, there are four main steps to fully achieving
the characteristic effect.
1. Hostages begin to identify with captors as a defensive mechanism
2. Rescuers become part of the outgroup
3. Personal bond grows with captors
4. Emotional distancing and denial of situation

It is a very detailed outline of the Syndrome and how it occurs...
Why do you want to blame the victim, tom?
