Tony came down hard on a NRO commenter who brought up Stockholm Syndrome.

My response to Tony included the other recently-released hostages in the mix, and I should have been clearer about that.

If Carroll comes out later and talks about how she was coerced into that statement, fine. I will understand completely. Better people than I am have read worse statements while under captivity.

I'm willing to wait and see. She was still in Iraq when she gave early interviews.

I had very little sympathy for Patty Hearst.
