I do not care what party you belong to, or what race or gender you belong to.... If you walk into a federal building without proper ID and you ignore repeated orders to stop and identify yourself by a uniformed officer then you should count yourself lucky to not have been shot...

If she hit the officer, doing his job, then she should be brought up on charges... Last time I checked, hitting an officer of the law was a crime- she should pay like any other citizen would. It sounds like the arrogance of power played a factor... in my opinion she deserves a harsher sentence than the average citizen.
