You have repeatedly stated that the main reasons for defeat in Viet Nam were the media and the left.
(i know, interlinked in your mind, but lets keep em apart for now).

Not any military snafus, not due to the style of warfare involved, not due to under the counter political machinations.

Lets go to Iraq. Are you making any distinction?
All I hear is the media doesn't report the good stuff, only the bad, and they and the left are undermining public support for the war.
Hardly a single word about incompetence, military screw ups, the scale of the insurgency, the political screw ups internally. Just about every action we've taken in Iraq has been blanket defended by you with either a "Sadaam was worse", or a "Dems would have pulled out by now".

No, it's the media and the left who are responsible for all ills.
You were wrong three decades ago. You're even more wrong now.
It's my belief that this is all about payback for you. You really couldn't give a toss about Iraq, other than making the left and the media look bad.
