It's interesting. I wonder how many chaired professors of geology held out on plate tectonics until retirement phased them out, and claimed persecution by a cabal of maleficent schemers.
I love how Lindzen, who has done some important work decades ago but is batting much lower (as vetted by the majority of climate scientists) in the current decade, is brandished like the golden idol of a dead god for the denialists. And of-COURSE it's a vast conspiracy of the majority of those who have a working understanding of climate dynamics that's keeping this one true academic down.
