Bush or the Republicans are too timid. But we should cut all Federal money having to do studies having to do with global warming- let the states pay for it. I'm sure girly man Arnold will take up the slack.
Of course I'm saying what would be the right thing to do, but certainly not what is political correct to do. It won't happen because it's become a third rail. Both domestically and internationally the political loss would be staggering. Nope, the politically correct choice is to keep appeasing this, appeasement works in this case, because these snake oil salesmen are running out of time- their predictions have already been proven wrong, but people are pretty stupid- it takes a while to sink in.
Meanwhile, Canada is doing a dead cat bounce, Japan is behind their targets, and carbon sales going in the direction of Saudi stock market.
So, the politically correct course is to spend more money on global warming studies, if you can reasonably manage it increase the spending significantly- let a thousand weeds bloom.
