Hopefully, the constant barrage from the press and others will disguise the fact that the modern Democratic Party is a yawning vacuum.

In 2004, voters looked at Bush, with his perceived incompetence, the struggling economy, the war in Iraq, and the endless attacks on him from the media, books, and pundits.

Then they looked at Kerry.

The Democrats have got nothing. Recent attempts to actually formulate policy statements have been jokes. The only policy they have is to wreck the Republicans, and everything they do or say is based on that.

And when the elections roll around again, they'll still have nothing.

Who are the Democrats going to run in 2008? Hillary would be wiped off the electoral map. Gore is crazy. Bush STILL beat Kerry in polls as recently as the end of last year. Maybe Warner has a shot.

If the Democrats get Congress back, they will have two goals:

--Destroy Bush

--Bring back the Fairness Doctrine and tighten up campaign laws to destroy the alternative media once and for all.
