Oh, Lindy, I know the feeling about having to pack everything in, especially the ornamental potted plants. They always go in our garage.

We survived Andrew ok, since it decided to head down to Homestead, but I can only feel those those in Australia. Monica had predictions of just hitting the northern tip and moving on to sea, but for it to take a turn to the south and go further inland is hair raising for the people that thought that it would not go there.

We'll hear more from Monica, I'm sure. I just found out about it from here.

In case we did have to go somewhere else, it would be our nearby high school. :) Most of us have repaired our roofs, but we still see quite a few blue tarps attached to roofs by remnants of downed wooden fences.
