errors balance? no

It would be random whether external interruptions favored one or the other trend. If it was a small number of interruptions compared to the events sampled, it would skew the results one way or the other.

Whether it means what some people thinks this test means or not, a repeatable trend must mean something. Interesting to figure out what.
