re: Seeing ourselves as others see us

How about seeing ourselves before we see others? Sensitivity comes not just from what we've experienced, but what we perceive what others have experienced. Absolutely, knowledge from what others from the 'outside' have experienced.

Anyways, I grew up in a small Caribbean island, where ethnisity and skin colors were as fluent as a rainbow and no one, not even my mother, father, had to tell me what was what. By the time I was 7 years old, I knew that man was man no matter what their skin color was. If the skin color was different, that man or woman came from a different region of the Earth. That's all.
