re: …….It may be true that........
The circumference of the Earth was measured ~250 B.C. by Eristosthenes, there are hints that it was known to be round considerably earlier.
I'm quite certain that the problem then, was the same as it is now, and that is the fact that people in general do not understand what other people are saying and because of that, they consider other peoples viewpoints as heresy, simply wrong, BS, or other such interpretations.
If this was not so, then Christopher Columbus would not have had such a hard time convincing people that the Earth is round.
This type of thinking will continue as long as some people are unwilling to listen or unable to understand what is being said.
As an example; if I say that the formula e=(u/k)c is just as, or more important, than the formula e=mc^2, you will not understand what I am saying and since you consider yourself to be smarter than me, you will not ask me what I mean by it. In fact you will go into the above mentioned mental mode whereby you will call that notion BS, simply wrong, or worse; if that does not satisfy your ego then you will call me by every vile name that you can think of .
If you know everything about science then it should be easy for you to explain to us (ignorant ones) how mass, space, and energy came into existence.
If that is too difficult for you, then simply explain how energy is confined by mass, as indicated by Einstein's formula. Or simply explain what mass and energy are in their fundamental state.
Now if I really want to get you going, all I have to say is that UFO's are real and that they can be constructed here on Earth:-)
Have a good weekend
Hmm... This post contains only my opinion, but it does seem almost like a criticism. Perhaps the moderator should transfer it to flame.
