OK. So, how about we try a week without illegal immigrants? Then maybe a month?
If this country could survive attack by Japan, war with Germany, police actions in Korea, and adventure in Viet Nam, the Mafia, and the administration of George W. Bush; certainly it can survive illegal alien Mexicans, Dominicans, Salvadors, etc.
